The (GABW) manuscript [1] gives the name of the wife of Martin Woodley as Ann Blaher (Bodine), indicating his uncertainty to her actual family name. Lycoming County, Pennsylvania Orphan's Court, vol. D185 (1841) refers to her three minor children under 14: George Woodley, Charles Bodine Woodley and Holland Blaker Woodley [2]. Other sources give the name of the wife of Martin Woodley as Ann Blaker and the census record consistently refers to her as Ann B. Woodley. It is concluded that Ann Blaker was the wife of Martin Woodley and not Ann Bodine.

[1] Woodley Genealogy by Gerald A.B. Woodley (GABW), undated but about 1975 – 1985.  Col. Gerald A. B. Woodley, a descendant of George Woodley, researched his family history and prepared a brief manuscript of his findings.  A copy of his research was provided by Doris Woodley of Kettering, Ohio, and an addendum by Robert A. Woodley of Toledo, Ohio

[2] Civil was draft registration records give the birth year of both as 1830, indicating they must have been twins.
