There is little to be added to the narrative of Hannah Woodley Blaker and her husband Jesse Blaker, Jr., other than what is found in the census record and in the probate of the will of Hannah in which she distributes her estate to her husband and family members.
Hannah and her husband married in 1826 and lived in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania until 1833 at which time they moved to Lucas County, Ohio, and then moved to Goodhue County, Minnesota in the early 1859s.
TThere were other Blaker/Woodley family marriages in addition to that of Hannah Woodley and Jesse Blacker, Jr. These include Mary Blaker as the wife of Richard Woodley and Ann Blacker as the wife of Martin Woodley. There was another marriage between David Woodley’s widow, Mary Corson, and Jesse Blaker, Sr. resulting in many Woodley and Blaker cousins. Several branches of the Woodley/Blaker families moved to Goodhue County in the second half of the 19th century and many of them, along with Jesse and Hannah Woodley Blaker are buried in Goodhue County, Minnesota.
