The Muncy Telegraph carried the news item on 28 July 1835 as follows: “A child of Anthony WOODLEY, of Wolf Township, aged between 2 and 3 years, drowned by falling from a bridge into the millrace on the 19th instant”.
The gap in births between 1924 and 1930 suggests that there may have been another child who died an early death. In fact this child may have been the girl listed in the 1830 census as age under five.
